Another Cartoon - Same Controversy

It has been three years since my last post. But certain things remain the same in the world. This time the cartoon is ostensibly about the economic stimulus plan, but makes, somewhat slyly, a racist jibe at the President. The publishers of the cartoons once again try to take cover under the veneer of the First Amendment. Public opinion is again distracted by the purported suppression of rights.It's all a familiar story.

It maybe impossible to ban such crude, offensive humor by law. But hopefully public outrage discourages further such misadventures.

Back Again to Blogosphere...

I am back to Blogosphere again after a long hiatus... So long that a lot of things have changed around here.

Bringing some order into my digital life has always been a challenge. Growing poplarity Twitter, Flikr, Youtube, Facebook, etc leave with more identities to manage. Though I feel they are all great ideas, I have not really caught on with many of them.

Looks like there are new XML based templates for the Blogger. I have never never messed around with XML or CSS before. So I spent a good part of my Saturday fixing the template the way I wanted. Thanks to phydeaux3 for some cool widgets.

Experimented a little with Wordpress.com. Left it with disgust when asked to pay for custom CSS on the template.

I spent my weekend doing another home improvement project. To make it a little more fun.. I photographed it...
STEP 1: Make a Mess of the room

Step 2: Lay the rails

Step 3: Connect the top

Step 4: Grab a Beer (Back-breaking work ain't it)

Step 5: Finish the frame

Step 6: Grab another Beer


Step 7: Tighten screws... Which one? Do I really see two...

Step 8:Finish the drawers
Step 9: Stack 'em up

Step 10: Strike three...

Step 11: Voila.. There she is..
